The Origin - In early 2022, it all began with a spontaneous idea and a handshake between friends. From this came our first T-shirt – a limited edition, the proceeds of which were donated to a charity for Ukrainian children.

The project was small but successful. The donation may not have been huge, but it helped.

This made it clear to us: we wanted more.

The beginning was made – and our journey began.

The Name - We, the founding team, come from the core of special forces – and that's exactly what we wanted to reflect in the label.

badger47 is a name combination that reflects our past and connects it with our new path. It stands for our memories and our operational experiences and is therefore also a tribute to our service in the first two German special forces task forces of their time, Task Force Badger and Task Force 47.

The coordinates in our trademark refer to our origin – and to the place where the idea for badger47 was born. There, where a fixed idea and a handshake between friends grew into something bigger.

The Beginning – In the first few months, we implemented individual projects for friends and partners in the security sector – both nationally and internationally. The feedback was consistently positive. The products and their quality met our own standards and the high expectations of our customers.

Internally, however, it became apparent that our workflows and processes did not yet meet our expectations.

It was time for the next step.

The Restructuring - We began to build a robust and reliable structure and enter into strategic partnerships. In doing so, we established clear responsibilities, processes, and automations that met our demands. This was also the prerequisite for us to open our online shop. This way, our customers can reach us more easily, allowing us to take badger47 to the next level.

The Vision - True to the motto "Go big or go home," we want to make the impossible possible and give German and European military personnel their own lifestyle brand. A brand with identity and style. Authentic and unmistakable.

We come from the same environment and therefore know how difficult it can sometimes be for us to deal with our own military identity. At the same time, we see how much good is done daily in the most diverse areas – at home and in international missions, in military and civilian structures, in national and international organizations. We appreciate this and want to value it.

We believe in the importance of inter-agency and international cooperation because we have seen, felt, and lived it. We know that only together can we make a difference and remain relevant. And we hope that badger47 can contribute a modest yet crucial part to this – by letting the badger47 lifestyle grow together with the community.

Our goal is never to arrive, never to be finished, always to adapt to changing circumstances and to evolve with the changes. To be modern and to remain modern. To this end, we are building a robust company structure with its origin and headquarters in Germany – as a solid foundation for a strong connection with our customers in Germany and Europe.

The Community - badger47 is primarily aimed at people in the multifaceted security sector – from the military to authorities, from recruits to generals, from soldiers to civilian employees. Although we come from the army, we appeal to the navy as much as the air force, active personnel as well as our veterans – and everyone who shares and loves our spirit. Because we know from experience that we only make progress together and everyone contributes their part to make the whole more valuable than the sum of its parts. We want to carry this ethos forward.
